I'm in Hell

My bathroom is still not finished!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My house is a mess and I am losing my mind!

Alyssa is feeling the stress and her behavior is - well - let's just say - trying.

Swine flu has arrived in my town.

The economy has struck close to home - again.

Please remember our nuthouse in your prayers!!!

Oh I feel your pain. Though I have to say, as one for whom home repairs NEVER repeat NEVER go smoothly or quickly, I am somewhat relieved to know that this is true for you too. LOL Just kidding, honest. But if you want to commiserate, I could tell a tale of woe of the 6 weeks we once had no real kitchen... I know it is hard on kids too, I have 4 who freak in varied and interesting ways when home repairs are going on! Hang in there, things will get better.

I will keep you in my prayers. Don't throw anything at me, but last year I took on a living room remodel project and even though I pulled the carpet and finished the floors and painted the walls, I have not finished the baseboards or the ceiling trim.

I started this project last Oct/Nov... I just haven't had the time or energy and I stressed over it until this past Feb. Hubbins told me there was no point stressing over it. I wanted to throw something at him.lol *hence the don't throw something at me* But I realized he was right, the additional stress didn't get the project done. It just made me feel mad and bad and it was rubbing off on the kids. I've had the attitude that I will get to it when I do and it will be ok. It's not easy to have that attitude but it's better than what I was feeling before. Good Luck!
